The smoke from the King Fire in El Dorado County, California worked its way over to Elko, Nevada diffusing the sunlight and creating this really dramatic, hazy sky over the railroad tracks. It wasn't until later that I noticed the utility poles off to the right look like a line of crosses strung together by wire. It's humbling to think about this horrible fire happening in Pollock Pines creating this beautiful moment in Elko.
